Capital requirement list for FIEs in different industries
As of 2024, China has significantly relaxed the registered capital requirements for foreign-invested enterprises. However, certain special industries still impose minimum registered capital requirements on foreign-invested enterprises (including Sino-foreign joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises) in accordance with industry regulations or the Negative List.
