According to the Interim Provisions Concerning Establishment of Meeting and Exhibition Company on Foreign Businessman Investment, foreign investors are permitted to establish exhibition company in the form of Chinese-foreign contractual joint ventures, equity joint ventures or wholly foreign-owned enterprises. Foreign-invested exhibition companies are not permitted to participate in the international economic & trade exhibitions hosted by foreign organizations or host international economic & trade exhibitions abroad.
